Agile has been used in BI for various projects in BI and it is now the primary model used to manage software development in the BI as a Service Pods.

  • A few features of Agile at BI are:
    • Involvement of all parties at all stages of solution development
    • Daily Scrums
    • User Stories
    • and more

You can see Agile in action at daily scrum stand-up meetings for two active BI as a Service pods. Look for more coming online soon. Contact myself or scrum master, Becka Goncharov, for more information about the daily stand-ups.

More opportunities to learn about Agile in BI will be announced over the next weeks and months.

You can also find Agile courses in your Personal Learning Portal.

Back in early August, BI successfully conquered an intensive exercise to create our inventory of official records to meet the RIM (Records Information Management) organization requirements. Now we look to implement strategies and disciplines to effectively manage our records. We will understand the records retention schedule, migrate to SharePoint 2013 and explore our new ECM (Enterprise Content Management) archive. Over the next few weeks, you will receive meeting invitations, information and access to videos for our RIM program. Contact Jax Sargent with your questions.
